You know that saying, “practice makes perfect”?
Well, have you ever spent A LOT of time practicing something…
But no matter how hard you tried, you just didn’t feel like you were making any progress?
If so, I want to tell you that the problem is NOT you. It’s the strategy.
It wasn’t until much later when I became a vocal coach myself that I learnt that practice alone does NOT make perfect….
If you’re vocal practicing in a way that’s ineffective, it’ll leave you feeling frustrated and discouraged.
There IS a better way….
A way that’ll SIGNIFICANTLY increase your chance of improving your voice.
In fact, practicing this way will pretty much guarantee progress.
I’m talking about practicing with INTENTION!
In my latest singing tip of the week I’m sharing…
- What practicing with intention means
- Why it’s important
- How to know whether you are practicing with intention or not
- 4 tips to help you start practicing with intention today
Although we’re talking about singing here, these same concepts can be applied to pretty much any skill you want to get better at.
As a student of mine once told me, “How you do one thing, is how you do everything.”
