My earliest memories from childhood are of watching my family performing music. As soon as my brother and I were old enough to hold microphones, our parents brought us onto the stage and into recording studios with them. 

But the truth is that singing did NOT come easily to me. I felt vocally limited and ashamed that I couldn’t sing as well as other members of my family. Eventually my self-doubt got the better of me and I quit music in 2002.

It wasn’t until I had one pivotal realisation when my voice (and my life) transformed.  In 2008, I became a vocal coach and have had the privilege of working with hundreds of voices, from total beginners to acclaimed pop singers and actors. But most of all, I’ve had the honour of learning from my coach and mom, Christine Samson.
